Pay it Forward itu dimulai dari seorang guru yg memberikan proyek pada murid2,  di mana hasilnya harus dapat membawa efek positif pada banyak orang. semakin banyak orgnya kena efek positifnya, semakin bagus proyeknya.

 

Salah satu muridnya menemukan cara unik, dan dia namakan “pay It forward”, artinya ketika dia(si X) membantu si A, dan si A merasa terbantu, maka si A itu tidak boleh membalas balik pada org yg membantunya (si X). Sebagai balasannya pada si X,  si A harus mencari 3 orang lain yg benar2 membutuhkan bantuannya sehingga orang yg dibantu merasa perlu balas budi. Bila ketemu si B dan ternyata si B merasa terbantu oleh si A, maka si B tidak boleh balas budi ke si A, tetapi si B balas budinya ke 3 orang lain, sebagai wujud terima kasih pada si A, dst.

Untuk memulai proyek itu, anak itu melakukan analisa apa yg benar2 dibutuhkan orang itu sehingga bantuan anak benar2 tepat guna pada orang itu. Dengan begitu, orang itu menjadi terbantu, dan pingin balas budi.

Jadi, ketika dia mau bantu 1 orang aja, dia butuh cukup lama untuk menemukan kebutuhan orang itu yg sebenarnya.

 

Efeknya luar biasa. Pertanyaannya apakah si anak bisa menyelesaikan proyeknya dgn baik yaitu hanya membantu 3 orang aja ?
